Instructions for a student on how to view
the English for Academic Purposes Toolkit
University of Southampton only
1. Go to www.blackboard.soton.ac.uk.
2. Log in with your University username and password.
3. You have already been automatically enrolled to use this resource so you simply need to select EAP Toolkit from the list under My Courses when your Blackboard homepage opens.
4. To view the interactive materials click on the link to Learning materials on the left side of the Blackboard screen - this will take you directly to a set of skills folders. Select a skill folder and then choose an item of learning material to open. Click on the title of the item to open it.
5. Please note that some of these interactive learning materials contain audio files and activities built in Flash. Your computer will need to have Flash 6 installed and you will also need to be connected to a headset for some of the listening materials.
