Instructions for a tutor on how to ENROL
on the Study Skills Toolkit
University of Southampton only
1. Go to www.blackboard.soton.ac.uk.
2. Log in with your ISS name and password.
3. Select the COURSES tab at the top of your screen and when this appears type: Study Skills Toolkit in the search box on the left.
4. After a moment the resource set will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click on the ENROL button on the right side, then confirm by selecting 'submit' and then 'OK' - you will then have self enrolled to the Study Skills Toolkit learning materials on Blackboard.
5. To view the interactive materials click on the link to Learning materials on the left side of the Blackboard screen - this will take you directly to a set of skills folders containing items of learning material. Select a skill folder and then choose an item of learning material to open. Click on the title of the item to open it.
6. Please note that some of these interactive learning materials contain audio files and activities built in Flash. Your computer will need to have Flash 6 installed and you will also need to be connected to a headset for some of the listening materials.
